So let us begin
Spells and Magick have been around for
centuries and can be dated as far back as early Egypt.
Now, don't get confused with the differences between a
Superstition and a Spell. Spells can be defined as an
action you would take (casting) in the belief that it would
make something happen, whereas a superstition is a story or
belief that is more of a caution or warning sign.
Spells can also be defined as a
wish or prayer only the added ritual of herbology or
incantations are included with some spells. Spells can
either be bad spells, or good spells, depending on the nature
of the situation at the time and how a person applies the
spell. There is no evidential proof to say that spells
are real, so basically the foundation of 'Magickal Spells'
depends highly on your beliefs.
Casting a Spell
The Casting of a Spell requires concentration
and belief and in some cases herbs. For instance, you
cannot cast a spell if you are not concentrating at the time,
otherwise there would be nothing for the spell to feed off,
and so it would just die. i.e. never work. Concentration
would be the vessel that channels the energy to the spell,
casting it in the desired direction. Concentration, a
method used to ensure direction of the spell. Without
Concentration and belief, your spell will be worthless.
You must never cast a spell when your emotions
are high, because all of your energy will be channelled
through to the spell and will be uncontrolled (without
concentration to direct the energy), no longer making it a
spell, but instead a curse. For instance, anger is a
powerful motive and almost the strongest source of energy, it
is also the deadliest of motives along with sadness and
sorrow. For more information on the casting of a curse,

Applying Herbology to Spells
Herbology is commonly used in the casting of a
spell and has been used since the beginning of mankind in not
only spells but for cures as well. Many people can get
confused with cures and spells. Remember that a cure
usually requires only herbs and a remedy. Never does it
require chanting or incantations. However, with the use
of herbology in spells, there are a wide range of reasons as
to why herbs are commonly employed to a spell. It is
believed that some Herbs contain strong ingredients that react
with our senses.
Like for example: Wormwood, can be used to attract sexual
desire from the opposite sex in only small doses or to make
someone hallucinate and in such becoming the heart of a certain
spell. The real reason is that Wormwood contains a high toxin
known as Silica, the main ingredient used in the alcoholic
drink known as 'Absinthe' or 'Green Fairy'. The drink
gained the name 'Green Fairy' because the high toxins, if not
taken properly and in small doses, supposedly gives a person
hallucinations, which is what makes it illegal in most
countries.
There
are also other plants that are used in Spells, such as roses.
Roses are commonly known for aromatic purposes because they
contain Geraniol, a substance that is found in the stem of a
rose and in rose oil which has the role of distributing
'aroma'. Most people do not realize that the pheromone
levels in their bodies react to the scent of a rose and this is
why they call it the 'Flower of Romance'. It is commonly
employed to the casting of a love spell for this purpose.
So as you can see, Herbs are a necessity for
some spells because of their natural effects they have upon
us. For more information on Herbs, click

Spells & Potions Now,
before I go into detail about Potions, let me just explain to
you exactly what a 'potion' is in magickal terms.
Have you ever heard someone say
"bottle your anger"? Potions can be dated back to,
again, early Egypt. The term 'bottle your anger' derives
from the medieval ages where witchcraft was extremely feared
through the lands. It was said that when a witch grew
angry, she would brew a wicked spell in her flaming cauldron
and then bottle it, giving it the name 'Potion'. She would
then feed her victims with it
and
they would become intoxicated, therefore, vulnerable to her.
Stories have made a rather astounding depiction of a witch
through ancient beliefs and religious accusations, not to
mention exaggerations, that most people now would think of a
witch as an evil person. Because of this, people have
failed to remember that she may not have only 'bottled anger'
but she may have 'bottled love'? Let's see, shall we?
Yes, my calculations are indeed correct.
Not only did the witch bottle her anger, but she bottled her
love, her sadness, her happiness, the scent of a rose (perfume
of love), and many others.
I think we can agree that a 'potion' is a
liquid form of a spell. It can be brewed without
incantations, and is usually brewed in a cauldron.
Herbs, plants, spices and oil are the main ingredients of
'potions' today, whereas, in the Middle ages, it was supposed
that witches would brew some of the most gruesome of things,
like animals and children. This cannot be proven.
Did you know that a love potion is actually
referred to as 'perfume'? Neat, huh? Apparently, the male
victim would fall fascinated into a helpless state, and all
because of the scent of perfume. The male was subjected
to the ensnarement of the female witch by the use of potions
and essences with a strong black magick intention.
Because of this, Perfume makers, have throughout the ages
named their perfumes black magick names such as Tabu and
Poison, so that the concept of relationships and the sexual
tensions between male and female are still highly charged with
the oldest values.
Finished
So I can conclude that there is a great deal
more to learn of spells but we can both agree that a spell in
ways is a magick from the deepest core of our minds, senses
and energy. Whether they come true or not is up to you,
but beware, what you give out comes back three-fold so
remember to send out kind spells.
Happy Spell-Browse!
Blessed Be!
